The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the US National Committee for UN Women is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Assembly: Safe Cities LA.It’s our most important event of the year and we would love you to join us for a series of dynamic discussions on creating more equitable cities for women and girls. The assembly will feature an inspiring panel of speakers, interactive discussions, an exciting performance and presentations from community organizations committed to making Los Angeles a safe city for women and girls.
Safe Cities is a global movement through which cities respond directly to the needs of women and girls by supporting their greater civic participation and community engagement.
This important event will bring together emerging youth leaders, concerned citizens, academics, activists, and urbanists to begin a conversation to collectively identify the issues that affect the quality of life for women and girls in LA and all over the world.
