HUMAN TRAFFICKING Awareness Training
there’s more than one way to save a life

Yuba College Theatre

12:00-1:00PM

Tuesday, October 18th

FREE ADMISSION and parking

Human trafficking happens in most countries in the world today, including in the United States and right here in Yuba-Sutter. It is the world’s fastest growing criminal industry estimated at $32 billion dollars per year, second only to drug trafficking. Understanding how humans can be bought and sold for another person’s profit is simple: it is basic supply and demand and a trafficker’s ability to prey on people who are vulnerable.

Learn more about Human Trafficking in the Yuba-Sutter area listening to experts in law enforcement and accounts from Trafficking Victims at this noon time seminar.

October 18- Men Standing Against Trafficking

Men Standing Against Trafficking

Human Trafficking is happening here in our own backyards.  As the men of Southern California, we’re not willing to let it continue.  Stand up for the voiceless.  Stand against the abusers. Stand together as protectors of the innocent. Stand. It’s that simple. We meet quarterly at trafficking hotspots across our region.

Our next events will take place on October 18th, 2016 in Long Beach, Orange County, Pomona and South LA. Silent Witness from 9 pm-10:18 pm, except for Pomona, which will go from 7-8:18pm.

  • 8:00-8:30pm – Arrive, check-in,  and buy a t-shirt, if desired
  • 8:30pm-9:00pm – Quick orientation
  • 9:00pm-10:18pm – Stand at designated location
  • 10:18pm – Walk back to cars and go home

Wear a white shirt and jeans to demonstrate your solidarity. While we prefer advance RSVP’s for planning purposes, you are welcome to just show up on the night as well, if you are able. Event t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
