Ensure Justice 2021: Being Crushed is a two-day virtual conference for people who want to study the issues, be a voice, and make a difference in the fight to end human trafficking.
Our annual conference considers the unique experiences of vulnerable people to exploitation and trafficking, which have intensified during Covid-19 uncertainty. Being Crushed will focus on early intervention solutions that build resilience, strengthen communities, and provide hope. Speakers will address topics such as resource scarcity, substance abuse and family violence, public health and mapping resources, and Adverse Childhood Experience tools.
Stand Against Human Trafficking Join us for a free training online for the hotel and hospitality industry on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. The training meets SB970 state requirements for hotels. This training is provided by members of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force and in partnership with the Anaheim/Orange County Hotel & Lodging Association, California Hotel & Lodging Association, and i-5 Freedom Network. In March 2020, Fair Trade Campaigns will host our annual National Conference in Pasadena, CA. The event will convene campus advocates and community organizers, representatives from sustainable brands and change-making organizations, and local and global leaders in the Fair Trade movement.
Entry into the event includes: the performances, keynote speaker, art exhibits, panel discussions, and vendor booths.
This Human Trafficking Awareness Event will feature live artists, performers, dancers, and singers at the beautiful Meng Concert Hall at California State University Fullerton.
Shari Ho, a Human Trafficking Survivor, will be the keynote speaker for the event, and Shari will be autographing her new books My Name Is Also Freedom and Freedom Was Just The Beginning. The event will have a panel discuss moderated by a KWAVE morning host.
KWAVE will broadcast live from the event and there will be vendor booths and resource tables throughout the venue.
