April 14- Women Survivors of Vision: A Taste of Freedom

Join and support us, as we bring awareness to the world’s 2nd largest criminal activity, human trafficking. Human Trafficking is modern day slavery and in 2016 there has been nearly 5,500 cases of human trafficking in California alone. California – a populous border state with a significant immigrant population and the world’s sixth largest economy – is one of the nation’s top four destination states for trafficking human beings. In Southern California we have a stake in making a difference as 72% of all trafficked individuals assisted in California are American citizens.

With the purchase of your benefit ticket, you are helping organizations that support and assist those who have been trafficked right here in Southern California, as well as provide funding for community awareness and education.

Join us for five BK Cellars’ wines tasting, appetizers, entertainment, silent auctions, and special presentations by Virginia Isaias, President and Founder of “Fundación de Sobrevivientes de Tráfico Humano” and Maria Suarez, Executive Director and Founder of the Maria Suarez Foundation.
