2014Invitation_V2(1)-page-001
The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force invites you to save the date for a free community awareness event on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Human trafficking is modern day slavery and is a fast, growing problem in our own community.  The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force is a collaboration of law enforcement agencies and local organizations working to combat human trafficking in Long Beach.
We invite you to learn more about the issue in Long Beach and how you can help prevent and fight this crime to make our community safe.  Chief of Police Jim McDonnell, LA Superior Court Commissioner Catherine Pratt and survivors of human trafficking will speak and there will be plenty of time to have one-on-one conversations with the experts and those working on the issue.
