The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles Sexual Assault Crisis Services would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Social Service Roundtable. The next meeting will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at our office located at 1600 E. Compton Boulevard, Compton, CA 90221.
Our ongoing goal is to provide a forum for agencies from the Greater Los Angeles Area to connect, network, learn about new resources and participate in continuing education opportunities. The hope and overall purpose is to ensure that the residents of our communities are able to access services and improve their quality of life.
In recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, our speaker will be Ms. Rachel Thomas from Sowers Education Group. Time will also be allotted for introductions and announcements as well as a brief presentation for the Community Stakeholder Campaign. If you are a new participant or if you have any new information about programs and services that you would like to share with the other participants, feel free to bring materials to distribute.
We hope that you will be able to join us for some networking and a light breakfast. Please feel free to invite representatives from other partner agencies that you collaborate with or send someone in your place if you are not able to attend.
