October 29- Gems Uncovered “Love to Life” Gala Dinner

gems-covered

You are invited to the Gems Uncovered “Love to Life” Gala Dinner on October 29th, 2016!

The evening will showcase what Gems Uncovered is doing to provide support and healing to victims of human trafficking.  Not only will you experience hope through stories shared by some of the women who have graduated from our Diversion Program, but you will understand what it means to continue to bring awareness and financial support to fight this horrible crime against humanity.

Gems Uncovered has pioneered many frontiers over the last five years, starting in 2011 with the mission to bring hope to the women prostituting on the streets of Long Beach.  In 2012 we were blessed to open a Drop In Center – the only one in Long Beach – to welcome girls to a safe place where they are listened too, loved on, and offered help through available services. Today, we have a successful Diversion Program called “Free 2 B Me” as well as Street Outreach Teams in Long Beach and Los Angeles.

Tickets are at a cost of $75 each.  This includes a delicious meal, dessert, fair trade coffee, access to a silent auction, and a night of inspiring hope.

Place: 7th Street Church | 668 N. Obispo Ave., Long Beach, CA 90814
Time: 6PM- 9PM

May 1 – 6th Annual Dinner for a Treasure Gala

tickets

Join us for a memorable evening that will include a seated dinner program, live entertainment, powerful stories, and a chance to learn how YOU can partner with Treasures to help reach and restore hope to victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

The gala is our only fundraising event each year and is vital to our ability to continue serving over 5,000 women annually and training other leaders around the globe to do the same.

Here is one of many similar messages Treasures receives weekly:

“It has taken me two DUIs leaving the same strip club to realize this industry is not an authentic expression of who I am, and is harmful to my health. Thank you for creating a resource to help girls make their graceful exit. Love, Chloe”  (Name changed to protect confidentiality)

It is because of generous supporters like you that we can care for women like Chloe.

We look forward to sharing more with you at our annual gala!

Registration & Cocktail Hour begins at 6pm
Dinner and Program begins at 7pm
