July 29 – CAST presents: Survivor of Sexual Slavery in WWII 7pm

On Monday, July 29, CAST is co-sponsoring a special event at the Museum of Tolerance. Kim Bok-Dong was forced into sexual slavery at the age of 15 for Imperial Japanese soldiers before and during WWII. She is one of the few surviving Korean “Comfort Women,” and is fighting today for historical justice and an official apology from Japan. She will be travelling from Korea to speak about her experience.
